I help you to support yourself
“The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind”
(William James)
The main stages of this journey and possible unexpected events and/or changes of routes can be a source of psychological stress because they always involve a change. They will require you to adapt to new roles, environments and circumstances. If you have landed here, you are already a hero! In fact, not everyone is aware of experiencing discomfort and seeking help to get better. But it is important for you to not forget that even heroes may feel intense emotions, cry and are afraid!
Advancing during the journey means to bring your confusion, worries and fears up to the surface. They may also lead to your self-preservation instinct and anxiety for the future.
Maybe you are at a time when you cannot handle the sadness you feel and you often cry, or it takes just a little to make you angry and you cannot control your own anger and your need to vent it with others. Or maybe you just feel restless, anxious or stuck. It often happens that you feel that you are not allowed to express your own emotions, because they might make you feel more vulnerable.
Some people bottle up their feelings and emotions and they come out as physical pain, such as stomach aches, nausea, insomnia, asthma, distraction, loss of memory etc.
As you probably know, emotions do not give up. If you close down their path, they will find another one. That is why it is important to understand their deep meaning in order to manage them and avoid them taking over.
